Discovery Portal
DISCOVER NEW WORLDS is Tokyube's front page for published worlds — featured picks up top, official TOKYUBE worlds, and per-world pages with likes, comments, visit counts and live public sessions you can hop into.
Overview
Open the Discovery Portal from the main menu. The portal is organized into rows: the Featured grid at the top, then Top 25 New Worlds, Top 25 Most Popular Worlds, Community Voted Worlds, and Official TOKYUBE Worlds. Click any card to open that world's page.
Featured Worlds
The featured grid showcases the current headliners, each with its own color identity:
- Battle Buddies Magic Quest (animated rainbow border) — a whole standalone game inside Tokyube. See Battle Buddies Magic Quest.
- Imposter Syndrome (galaxy black with white and coloured twinkles) — a social deduction party game with online rooms. See Imposter Syndrome.
- OuterVerse (deep-space nebula) — the infinite-galaxy space exploration sandbox. See OuterVerse.
- Card Crazy Lounge (blue) — a blue-lit card hall: solitaire solo, UNO for up to 4, plus Rummy and Gin Rummy with CPU modes on the upper floor.
The featured row rotates as new worlds land. Finn the Fisher and Flamingo Casino! TestTube both held featured slots previously and remain in Official TOKYUBE Worlds.
Official TOKYUBE Worlds
Every world published by the Tokyube team lists here — the featured worlds plus classics that have rotated out of the top grid:
- Flamingo Casino! TestTube (green) — a neon-green casino with a working slot machine.
- Flamingo Lounge and Theater (pink) — the lounge + movie theater where up to 12 players watch YouTube together on the big screen. Movie night every Friday!
- Finn the Fisher (pink) — a whole ocean adventure with bird hunting and line sledding mini games, opening with its own two-stage splash intro. See Finn the Fisher.
- The Old Tokyube Metro (gold, by Dasy444 + DOOM Industries) — a moody abandoned subway station with graffiti-tagged platforms under a sunset-and-stars sky.
- Chroma Rush (black night sky + twinkling stars + rainbow accents) — a neon color-dash arcade standalone game. See Chroma Rush.
- KITCHEN POP! (pink lemonade) — a candy-bright kitchen arcade standalone game. See KITCHEN POP!.
- Jumpin' Ain't Easy! (trippy RGB) — a comic-ink vertical scramble standalone game. See Jumpin' Ain't Easy!.
- BerryBlendz (deep blue → indigo → purple → hot pink → red) — a juicy merge arcade standalone game. See BerryBlendz.
World Pages
Each discovery world has a themed page — Flamingo pink, Casino green, Card Crazy blue, Metro gold, Battle Buddies animated rainbow, Chroma Rush's twinkling night sky, KITCHEN POP!'s pink lemonade, Jumpin' Ain't Easy!'s trippy RGB, BerryBlendz's blue-to-red gradient and Imposter Syndrome's galaxy black — showing:
- The world's thumbnail, description, creator credit and max-player count.
- 👍 / 👎 voting with live counts.
- World Visits Total and Unique Visitors.
- A comments section (one comment per player, editable).
- The live list of public sessions with player counts.
Public Sessions & Playing
From a world page you can start a new public session, start a private session, or click any listed session to join it. Sessions run over Steam peer-to-peer; the world installs into a reserved session slot on your machine, so playing a discovery world never touches your own world library.
Per-world max players: the Theater seats 12; roaming worlds cap at 8.
Likes, Comments & Visits
Votes, comments and visit counts are shared across all players through the Tokyube cloud. One vote and one comment per player per world — your comment is editable any time. Visits count every entry into the world; unique visitors are tracked separately.
Standalone Game Worlds
Some discovery entries aren't voxel worlds at all — they're whole games built inside Tokyube. Their pages look like any featured world, but PLAY launches the game directly (no world install, no sessions list), and every one gives you a BACK TO TOKYUBE button that returns you to the title screen without replaying the launch splash. Each button is styled in its own game's look, appears on that game's title screen, and scales with your Options display-resolution setting.
Eight are live today:
- Battle Buddies Magic Quest — a full RPG with buddies, dungeons and loot (rainbow, featured).
- Imposter Syndrome — a social deduction party game with online rooms joined by a five-letter code (galaxy black, featured).
- OuterVerse — an infinite-galaxy space exploration sandbox, prototyped fully with in-engine Tokyube tools (deep space, featured).
- Finn the Fisher — an ocean adventure with bird hunting and line sledding mini games, opening with its own two-stage splash intro.
- Chroma Rush — a neon color-dash arcade, with a permanent back button and an ESC pause menu.
- KITCHEN POP! — a candy-bright kitchen arcade.
- Jumpin' Ain't Easy! — a comic-ink vertical scramble.
- BerryBlendz — a juicy merge arcade.
The engine always runs the newest build of each game automatically. Two of them are also playable free in your browser, with no time limit: tokyube.com/impostersyndrome and tokyube.com/finnthefisher.
Session Rules
- Discovery worlds are relaxed-locked — you explore and interact, you don't mine or build.
- Discovery worlds can't be cloned into your library.
- The Build Camera is disabled in public discovery worlds.
- Anything you earn through world scripts (casino chips, card stats) persists on your account via per-player variables — see TPPV.
